MAKING VISIONS VISIBLE

One of the greatest privileges of my career is my interaction with clients. Whether they are new faces or old friends, collaborating with them to make their visions visible becomes a wellspring of new ideas and deep friendships. It is so gratifying to realize on canvas something that a client has long held only in their imagination, and it is a wonderful compliment when a former client returns for a second (or third) project.

The Five C’s of Commissions:

Connect- We determine if we are the right fit for one another in conversation.

Collaborate- We discuss, sketch, and pray to a unified vision.

Contract- We agree on terms to protect our mutual interests and expectations.

Create- The work and dialog evolve with the option for collaborative input.

Confirm- We make the final adjustments to perfect the end result.

This was painted live at a funeral for an elderly woman who came to follow Jesus later in life, and who was “swallowed by life” in her later years, full of faith and purpose.

Commission Rates

Prices are determined by the size and complexity of the work. I will negotiate within my time and your budget to provide the best result possible. My work commission work ranges from small paintings done in my fast live painting style to large complexly layered images with highly refined details, varying in cost from several hundred to many thousands of dollars. I hand build a custom wooden canvas for your piece (ready to hang without the necessity of costly custom framing), and will prayerfully listen to your heart so that I can serve your vision with my skills, bringing life to your imagination.
