Swallowed By Life- Tribute to Jane Flahive

from $50.00

The original 18x24" acrylic painting was done live during the memorial service for Jane Flahive on Valentine's Day 2015 [2.14.15].  It was inspired by the stories and memories of Jane, a woman perpetually young at heart, full of child-like joy, a lover of people, and the matriarch of an amazing legacy of family.  The title comes from 2 Corinthians 5:4

"While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life." [NLT]
